neighborhood gathering july 5

On 4th of July weekend, we are doing another Neighborhood Gathering! Instead of gathering under one roof, we’re asking our GBCC church family to be the church in their neighborhoods — hosting or attending a Neighborhood Gathering right where they live. We will provide a teaching video to anchor your time together, but the real win is the conversations, connections, and relationships that happen with the people next door. We will also have conversation questions for after the message.

Learn more about neighborhood gatherings here. When you gather, snap a picture and share with us! You can tag us on Facebook or Instagram or send a picture to social@gbcc.me - we’d love to see how you gather!

Discover your spiritual gift!

At Community Church, we believe every person has been uniquely gifted by God for a purpose. When you understand your spiritual gift, it brings clarity, confidence, and direction—and it helps you step into the role God designed you to play in building His Kingdom.

A way we do that is a through course called Navigate, created to help you discover and understand your spiritual gifts through a biblical framework. You’ll learn what spiritual gifts are (and aren’t), receive real-time feedback on how you’re wired, and walk away knowing how to use your gift to serve meaningfully in the church and beyond.

This is a condensed, one-day version to help fit busy schedules! Join us Wednesday, July 15 from 8am-3pm at GBCC, and register now!

CONNECT TO COMMUNITY

Join us for Connect to Community, on the first Sunday of each month. This gathering is free to attend and a great first step in getting to know GBCC. Join us from 10am–11am. Come a little early and enjoy breakfast! You’ll meet some of our pastors, elders, and staff, get a simple overview of who we are as a church, and learn how you can get involved. We’ll also answer any questions you may have. Our hope is that you’ll meet new friends, catch a clear picture of our beliefs, and discover real ways to connect.

NO Connect to Community in July. Next date is August 2 - RSVP here.

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT

Giving is the intentional spiritual practice of sharing one's resources, time and talents with others, motivated by love and obedience to God. This practice recognizes that all we have comes from God and serves as an expression of faith and gratitude. It fosters generosity and selflessness, benefiting both the giver and the recipient while reflecting God's heart in caring for others.

As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand.

For the week of June 18: Total giving was $34,378—about $4,000 below our target. Would you join us in praying for hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? As the German priest and theologian Martin Luther once said, “I have held many things in my hand, and have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands that I still possess.” Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church!
